Hi, my name is Jerry. I am an author, a life coach, a podcaster, and a businessman. I’ve also been other things, namely a hermit, and a seminarian who studied philosophy and theology. My journey as a hermit is at the heart of my book, Hermit. You can learn more about the book here. Born in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, to World War II generation parents, I come from a large Italian American family. My life has been anything but routine. My plans for an education, professional life, marriage, children, house, and a white picket fence, which my parents had urged for my brothers and me were not in the cards for me. God was always leading me, without realizing it until later in life. I learned the hard way never to say never, never to make assumptions expecting things to unfold how I want and expect, and that my ways are not God’s ways, my plans are not God’s plans.
